Police say a USPS mail carrier was assaulted and robbed in Randolph

The Randolph Police Department confirms they are investigating the theft of a US Postal Service mail carrier in the Massachusetts town. According to police, they received a 911 call at approximately 12:30 a.m. Wednesday from a postal worker, who said they had been robbed inside the Rosemont Square apartment complex. Randolph police said a USPS employee was physically assaulted by two masked men dressed in all black. The postman suffered injuries to his ribs and side as a result of the attack. Police also said the attackers stole the “arrow key,” which is the master key to USPS mailboxes in a particular area, from the mailman.
