Police have arrested a suspect after a shooting at a shopping center in Copenhagen. He is a 22-year-old Dane, chief investigator Soren Thomassen said in the Danish capital on Sunday evening. After the crime, he allowed himself to be arrested by the police without much resistance. Police said he killed and injured several people. The correct numbers were not given initially.
Meanwhile, Danish newspaper Extra Bladet published a witness video that allegedly shows the perpetrator. A white man is seen wearing capri pants and carrying a gun over his shoulder. Additional footage shows him running through the building with a gun.
The day before the massacre, the man posted four videos of nearly 10 minutes each. All show him with a rifle or a pistol. He poses with a gun, kneeling the gun on his head. Police psychologists are currently examining his mental health. The Inspector General of Police said that it is still too late to provide information about the motive. The matter is under investigation and “we cannot rule out that it is terrorism”.

“All of a sudden we heard shots, I heard ten shots, and we ran as fast as we could to hide in the toilets,” Isabella told public broadcaster DR. He hid in the mall for two hours. Other eyewitnesses described the shooter as a six-foot-tall man with a hunting rifle.
