US blames Ukraine for Dukina’s murder

Who murdered the daughter of Russian nationalist Alexander Dugin? According to US officials, the route leads to Ukraine.

According to US intelligence services, parts of the Ukrainian government are said to be behind the assassination of Russian Daria Dukina. This was reported by the “New York Times” and refers to several US officials. Ukraine has previously denied involvement in the attack. Dukina, daughter of prominent nationalist Alexander Dukin, was killed in a car bomb attack last August.

According to the report, there was no forewarning of plans to attack the US. Some officials believe the attack on Dukina’s father was actually planned. However, it is unclear whether Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky himself approved the attack.

Are new attacks planned?

A Ukrainian military official reportedly confirmed to the newspaper that the Ukrainian military had already carried out attacks on Ukrainian collaborators and Russian officials in the occupied territories. The report did not provide any further details.

The United States also fears that Russia may again try to assassinate Ukraine’s president or other leaders who enjoy less robust security in the coming months. Officials at the US State Department, CIA and other agencies declined to comment on the report.
