Sniper “Volley” again in Ukraine

A world-renowned sniper is said to be back in action in Ukraine. However, this time, “Wally” is primarily an instructor and commander.

A Canadian sniper known as “Wally” has reportedly returned to Ukraine. But he didn’t want to fight alone at the front there, he told the Bild newspaper, instead training and commanding Ukrainian snipers. “Last time I was in Ukraine to protect the country, now I hope to find a role in the crime.”

The trained IT specialist was hailed on the internet as a “deadly sniper”, although there was no evidence for this. Russia announced that the man, who did not want to give his real name, had died. “Wally” fought in the Ukraine shortly after the war began. He returned to Canada in April to be with his family after the death of a comrade.

After shelling in Ukraine, he returned home

The sniper was known for volunteering in operations for the Canadian military in Afghanistan and the fight against IS militants. However, his first mission in Ukraine was not as successful as expected. “I’m lucky to be alive, it was so close,” the former soldier of Canada’s Royal 22nd Regiment told La Presse at his home near Montreal after returning home.
