Peter Crombie, who was a recurring character popularized by the name “Crazy” Joe Davola SeinfeldHe died Wednesday at the age of 71. Details of his death have not been revealed, but it appears he suffered a short illness.
Crombie's unpredictable Davola appeared in five episodes in season four, which included stalking Jerry and at one point dating Elaine. The character is named after television producer Joe Davola, who worked with Tollin/Robbins Productions and has dozens of credits.
