Mayim Bialik was waiting for co-star Leslie Jordan when he died

Actress Mayim Bialik shares new details about how she learned of Leslie Jordan’s death.

Jordan died in October at the age of 67, after crashing his car into the side of a building in Los Angeles.

The Los Angeles coroner confirmed to The Post at the time that he died of sudden cardiac dysfunction and atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease.

Bialik revealed that the cast and crew of the sitcom “Call Me Kat” were waiting for him on the day of his death.

“We were all at work and waiting for him to show up in action, so it was a very complicated thing to have the whole crew there and all the cast,” Bialik, 47, admitted during an appearance Tuesday on Instagram.The Jennifer Hudson Show.“

She likened the cast to “family,” especially since it was one of the first shows to start filming again after the COVID-19 pandemic. The show even ceased production after his death.

“We were all very close,” she said of the late actor, “and people knew Leslie Jordan as Leslie Jordan, not necessarily like the character he played on our show.”

“He was in people’s lives, especially during COVID. He was in people’s Instagram feeds. A lot of people formed a real connection with him, and he loved that. He liked being friendly. He liked being cuddly.”

The Post has reached out to Bialik’s representatives for comment.

Jordan shines comdian theater as Phil, the chief baker at Bialik’s character Kat’s bakery.

The show, which premieres in 2021, is about Kat who uses the money her parents were saving for her wedding to open a cat-themed cafe.

They bid farewell to Jordan’s character in an emotional episode that aired in January.

They addressed his absence by writing that his character and imaginary friend had made their vacation in Tahiti a permanent move instead.

The sitcom also marked Jordan’s first on-screen kiss with a man.

Before Jordan passed away, he became a social media star, amassing millions of followers on both Instagram and TikTok. He often shared funny stories, sometimes about his experience growing up in Tennessee, and had his fair share of stabs at popular TikTok dances.

He starred in 17 episodes of the hit TV show Will & Grace as Beverley Leslie, as well as Mr. Blackly in 2011’s The Help, among other roles.

However, Jordan was not included in this year’s “In Memoriam” section of the 95th Academy Awards, which upset fans.

The emotional tribute included a performance by Lenny Kravitz of his song “Calling All Angels”.
