Tensions were running high between Kody Brown and his second wife, Janelle Brown Sunday’s episode of “Sister Wives” Because Cody refused to “break my back” to a wife he felt didn’t “respect” him.

As documented in Season 17, Janelle moved from her home in Flagstaff, Arizona to an RV on the Coyote Pass property of the Brown family With daughter Savannah Brown, 17. She hoped the rest of the family would start building homes there as they originally planned.

Janelle fought back because she said she couldn’t afford the mortgage on both homes. She believed she could build her home on Coyote Pass within a year.

In a one-on-one interview, Janelle said that the only reason Cody wanted to buy Kristen’s house was because he wanted to keep it in the family, rather than actually think about her needs. She said she would feel “stuck” in there and would not allow Cody to “pressure” her into doing what he wanted to do.

In a scene late in Sunday’s episode, Cody visits Janelle’s RV to tell her that her plans to build the house will have to be delayed while they build a subdivision on the property.

Janelle told the cameras that Cody had a “tough summer” (Maybe because Kristen has moved on) and was now making Coyote Pass’s build issues “all my problem” and blaming it for his “annoyance”. She described Cody’s behavior as “amazing”.
