Jonathan Majors’ ex-girlfriend has been charged with assault in connection with a domestic altercation

The Manhattan District Attorney’s Office said Thursday that it would not prosecute this case “because it lacks merit.”

The filing effectively means that Al-Jabbari will not ultimately be prosecuted for any crime in this case.

Hours before Al-Jabbari’s arrest, a judge denied a request to dismiss the assault case against Majors and set a trial date for November 29.

Majors’ lawyer, Priya Chowdhury, has previously maintained her client’s innocence and stated that it was in fact the actor who was assaulted.
