Transit to and from foreign lands

The transportation agency said it would offer complementary service on the N Judah and 5R Fulton. SFMTA said Muni will provide 5X Fulton Express service from Golden Gate Park to the Civic Center BART Station, but festival-goers must allow additional time on N Judah bus routes due to expected crowds.

Mooney will have an additional service to Golden Gate Park in addition to its normal service, but the additional service on 5R Fulton will not extend to the entire route. Sifmta said the North Judean bus will serve the entire route.

The following are the additional services offered by Muni:

– 5R Fulton Rapid from Montgomery BRT to Richmond from 1:30 pm to 9 pm
– North Judah from 2 to 11:30 pm
– 5X Fulton Express from Fulton/25 to Civic Center BART from 9:30pm to 11:30pm

SMFTA said the following areas will be available for taxis and pick-up areas:

Taxi stands: Friday from 9 am to Monday at 2 am

The south side of Fulton Street between 28th and 29th Streets

Bike and scooter sharing services will also be available daily at an “Active Transportation Center,” located just north of Hillman Hollow near the show and bypass from 10 a.m. to an hour after the last act.

City officials encourage festival-goers to avoid driving and consider using bike-share stations, according to a previous SFGATE report.
Eight new bike-sharing stations, operated by Bay Wheels, opened this week in Golden Gate Park.

The new bike stations are located in the following locations:
