Gisele Bündchen cried over Tom Brady's divorce

Apart from a couple of magazine appearance, Gisele Bündchen has been selective about how and when she speaks about her divorce from Mr. Americana himself, Tom Brady. Don't get me wrong: She seems to be in good shape, just based on her horseback rides in Costa Rica with a jiu-jitsu instructor and her radiant appearance at the 2023 Met Gala, during which she transformed into a feathered, hooded angel. But while the former Victoria's Secret model hinted at the devastation following her 2022 split from Brady, she didn't necessarily let the audience see the depths of those emotions. That is until Robin Roberts got involved.

Wednesday, According to to the peopleletters of news Projection A trailer for Bündchen's upcoming interview with Roberts, aptly titled IMPACT x Nightline: Gisele Bündchen: Climb the Mountain. In the video, Bündchen is seen sitting across from Roberts in a yard that could belong either to the finest farm I've ever seen or to a wealthy town. Roberts reminds Bündchen of the time she likened divorce to “the death of my dream,” then asks her how she's doing. As is the case with anyone who is asked how they are doing in the midst of a crisis in which they have not performed well, Bündchen began to cry.

“Sorry guys, I didn't know… Can I have a little moment?” She says as she turns away from the camera to collect herself.

Maybe you can see Bündchen on the runway and feel envious; You can watch Bündchen cheering on the Patriots and feel overwhelmed; You can watch Bündchen roaming around Costa Rica in a bikini with her personal jiu-jitsu buddy and feeling a little sexy. But you can't watch her cry and not feel anything. Aside from watching the model suffer a severe human breakdown, we learn absolutely nothing from the trailer. ABC News treated us to drawings that scream “RAW,” “OPEN,” and “HONEST” that look like they were created on a 1985 version of Microsoft Paint, and then the teaser concluded with Roberts asking Bündchen if she'd be able to “OPEN [her] Heart back for someone. Bündchen smiles. The trailer ends. At least the special is on Hulu on Thursday, so we won't have to wait long to see if Bündchen is actually climbing a mountain.
