destiny 2 beta

Gamers are rather excited about the Destiny 2 beta that’ll be available starting this Tuesday. That said, Bungie just published a blog post alerting players of some of the known issues they can encounter in the game’s beta.

Bungie reveals in the blog post as to what we can expect from Destiny 2 beta on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Apart from information on to how sign-in and how to provide feedback, there’s a dedicated section in the blog post that talks about known issues in the preview build.

For instance, players can encounter several networking errors codes while playing the beta. Therefore, you’re likely to experience multiple server hiccups as Bungie will be tracking these errors. Now,  this is usually the case with preview builds of the game’s beta as publishers try to monitor and tweak these glitches by the time of the game’s official launch.

Another issue that gamers can encounter in Destiny 2 beta is the is the absence of location names while playing Crucible gameplay matches. Also, there’ll be some issues with sandbox balancing as some weapons may show higher or lower damage than what they’re supposed to.

Bungie further stated in the blog post that all supported languages won’t be available in Destiny 2 beta due localization constraints. However, this issue will be rectified by the time the game launches this September.

Destiny 2 beta opens for everyone on July 21 and runs through July 23. However, early access for Destiny 2 beta goes live on July 18 for the PlayStation 4, and July 19 on the Xbox One. However, PC gamers will have to wait until late August for beta access.

Destiny 2 Open beta will also give players an opportunity to check out the game’s new social space called The Farm. Bungie is inviting everyone to take part in the open beta. Besides, players also get a chance to take a tour of The Farm on 10 am to 11 am PT on July 23.

Destiny 2 is set for a release on September 6 on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Sony and Bungie have announced a limited edition Destiny 2 PS4 Pro bundle that’ll arrive alongside the game when it releases this fall. While PC version of the game launches on October 24.
