Asus is expected to unveil its Zenfone 4 range if smartphones at an event in Taipei on August 17. Now, popular Twitter-based tipster RolandQuandt has purportedly revealed specifications for the US variant of the company’s upcoming flagship – the ZenFone 4 Pro .
The smartphone is said to be the next flagship from Asus. According to Quandt, the ZenFone 4 Pro will run the latest Qualcomm Snapdrgaon 835 processor bundled with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of built-in storage, further expandable via microSD slot. Up front, the Zenfone 4 Pro is expected to feature a 5.5-inch Full HD display.
Juicing up the smartphone will be a 3600mAh battery. While in terms of OS, the handset will run Android 7.1 Nougat out-of-the-box wrapped over Asus’ propreotpry ZenUI skin.
Elsewhere, Quandt suggests the handset will come with Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, Wi-Fi support upto AC standard, along with dual band support (2.4GHz and 5.0GHz.
That being said, the leak does not reveal the camera configurations of the upcoming ZenFone 4 Pro. Though sources indicate the possibility of dual-lens camera setup on-board.
Alongside the ZenFone 4 Pro, Asus is also expected to introuduce the ZenFone 4 Selfie Pro and ZenFone 4 Selfie on Auguts 17. Both these devices are said to be the first handsets from the company to feature a dual-lens selfie camera. According to past leaks, ZenFone 4 Selfie Pro (ZD552KL) will feature a 120-degree wide angle lens with a 24MP+5MP selfie camera setup coupled with an LED flash. While the ZenFone 4 Selfie ZD553KL is expected to feature 20MP and 5MP lenses on the front for its selfie camera.
