HBO Max Full trailer dropped “A Christmas Story Christmas,” starring Peter Billingsley, will be released on Tuesday, just in time for the holiday season.
Despite no pink pajamas or guns of a bunny in the trailer, viewers are given the gift of Billingsley reprising his iconic role in Ralphie Parker with Ian Petrella, Zack Ward, and RD Robb returning as Scut Farkus, Flick and Schwartz, respectively.
The film also marks Ian Petrella’s return to the silver screen after being in the original movie.
A Christmas Story is set in the 1970s – as Ralphie returns to his hometown with his new family in an attempt to reconnect with his childhood after his father’s death.
The film is a spin-off from the 1994 sequel “It Runs in the Family” and the television musical special “A Christmas Story Live!”
“A Christmas Story” was initially considered a failure upon its initial release but has since become one of the most beloved holiday classics.
“A Christmas Story Christmas” is scheduled to premiere on HBO Max on November 17.
