Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is largely complete by March 2022, and I’ve spent the last year polishing

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom may have been out for over a week now, but there is still a lot of excitement and discussion surrounding Nintendo’s latest game. However, you may be interested to know that if everything had gone originally as planned, this excitement and discussion would have happened a year ago.

You see, Zelda producer Eiji Aonuma recently spoke to The Washington Post about The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. In the interview, he revealed that the game was supposed to be released last year. In fact, by the time March 2022 arrived and the delay was announced, the game was pretty much complete. However, Onuma says they delayed it because they “wanted to make sure everything in the game was 100 percent up to our standards”. The past year has been spent polishing the game and making sure the game’s “wild physics just work”.
