The season 19 finale of “America’s Got Talent” concluded on September 24 with the announcement of this year’s $1 million prize winner. Ten acts competed in a two-hour version of “AGT” on September 17 after receiving enough votes from the public in qualifying rounds. Some also needed the support of this season’s judges – Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum and Sofia Vergara – To get this far.

9:02 PM – The big night of talent kicked off with a drone show from Sky Elements offstage and the return of the Detroit Youth Choir with their performance of “High Hopes,” backed by Golden Buzzer sponsor Terry as a backing dancer in their routine.

9:13 PM – As a representative of what it means to be a champion, Simone Biles took the stage to tell Terri that it takes “hard work, dedication and sacrifice” to reach the top.

9:17 PM – Grammy nominee Steve Aoki brought his turntables to the stage to play for AIRFOOTWORKS as they delivered an extra performance that has made them a huge hit with audiences this season.

9:25 PM – Performing together for the first time was a great combination with Hakuna Matata Acrobats balancing in front of the judges, Ronnie Saji and Rhythm setting the pace with some dance moves on stage, and then Brent Street storming the stage with their big formations.

9:31 PM – After making his debut as a coach on “The Voice” last night, singer Michael Bublé has released a smooth version of “LOVE” to promote his new greatest hits album.

9:38 PM – The next singer to perform was Andra Day with her 2024 song “Probably” which included a performance from the ceiling by Sebastián & Sonia. Andra also performed a second performance by the Detroit Youth Choir with Dee Dee Simone as lead singer as they all joined in for “Come Together.”

9:51 PM – Richard Goodall’s first audition for “Don’t Stop Believin'” was joined tonight by guitarist Neal Schon and members of Journey in what was truly one of the most memorable performances of the season.

9:56 PM – The special gift Learnmore Jonasi received on the closing week was a phone call and invitation from Gabriel Iglesias to join him in Las Vegas to perform live on stage at the Chelsea Theater inside The Cosmopolitan.

10:05 PM – Solange Cardinale was lucky enough to join the cast of “Magic Mike Live” in a duet over who could change their clothes the fastest.

10:18 PM – Simone took the stage as part of a series of acrobatic moves performed by gymnasts on the Gold Over America tour.

10:26 PM – Before the voting began, Terry shared some messages from home to the finalists, including videos from grandparents, spouses, children, students and friends of the talented artists.

10:28 PM – In the first set of results, Brent Street were eliminated from the tournament while Sky Elements advanced as one of the top five finalists.

10:30 PM – From the second pairing, Learnmore got a place in the top five and Sebastián and Sonia were eliminated.

10:32 PM – The third act to make the top five was Richard Goodall, but Dee Dee Simone was out.

10:34 PM – The fourth act to receive enough votes to stay in the competition was Solange, which meant that Hakuna Matata Acrobats had to leave the competition.

10:35 PM – The last two people to hear about their fate were Roni Sagi & Rhythm and AIRFOOTWORKS. Of the two, only Roni & Rhythm received the necessary votes to continue.

10:43 PM – Based on America’s vote, the business that got the fifth place was Learnmore.

10:49 PM – The artist who got the fourth place was Solange Cardinale.

10:50 PM – Third place went to Sky Elements team.

10:58 PM – With the competition narrowed down to the top two acts of the season, Terry announces that the next champion and winner of the million dollar prize is singer Richard Goodall!
