The actor, who was last seen at a close encounter in Jordan Peele noJoin the voice cast of Spider-Man: Via the Spider-Versethe sequel to the Oscar-winning animated film, Spider-Man inside the spider world.

The plot details are kept secret Miles Morales (Shamek Moore), the friendly full-time Spider-Man neighborhood in Brooklyn, is forced to re-team with Spider-Gwen (Hailee Steinfeld) and a new team of Spider-People to take on a powerful villain.
Kaluuya will voice the character Hobart “Hobie” Brown, aka Spider-Punk. The character is the latest Marvel Comics innovation, debuting in 2015 from writer Dan Slott and artist Olivier Coipel. Brown is a homeless teenager who becomes a hero to the persecuted citizens of New York in his own dimensional world.
The film’s cast also includes returning actors Oscar Isaac, Brian Terry Henry, Luna Lauren Velez, and Greta Lee. Newcomers include Issa Ray, Rachel Dratch, Jumma Tacon, Shea Whigham and Jason Schwartzman.
Lord and Miller will be credited as writers in the film, along with David Callham.
In the verse of the spider Directors Peter Ramsey and Bob Persechetti serve as executive producers alongside Aditya Sood.
Via the spider verse It is the second of a planned trilogy with a third part, Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Versescheduled for release on March 29, 2024.
