Ubisoft Plus is now available on Xbox Series X and Xbox One

Ubisoft Plus, the publisher’s monthly subscription that offers the back catalog on an all-you-can-eat basis, is now available on Xbox consoles, Microsoft announced on Thursday. Membership costs $17.99 per month.

Xbox access comes under the higher-tier sub-tier Multi Access plan, which includes access to the Ubisoft catalog on Amazon Luna and on a Windows PC through the Ubisoft Connect platform. Players who have already subscribed to the multi-access level and want to play Ubisoft games on Xbox One or Xbox Series X only need to connect their Xbox Live account to Ubisoft Plus.

An accompanying press release from Ubisoft on Thursday said that Ubisoft Plus Multi Access will support cross-platform progression and game saves for “a select number of titles,” which has not been specified. Xbox Wire contains Full list of games In the Ubisoft Plus Library.

Ubisoft’s statement also said that subscribers “will be able to access premium versions of upcoming releases,” though it wasn’t clear if it was talking about brand new titles releasing on the same day.

Ubisoft Plus launched in September 2019. It is available for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 players, but only through the new PlayStation Plus additional and premium subscription levels.

The service is somewhat similar to the nine-year-old EA Play subscription, which is available to subscribers of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, the highest membership level for that console. Like EA Play, Ubisoft Plus offers subscribers 10% off in-game purchases.
