The One Piece live-action series on Netflix is ​​getting the final trailer just before launch

Netflix has released the final trailer for the live-action One Piece movie ahead of its premiere as well as new photos.

The Netflix series One Piece is based on Japan’s best-selling manga series of all time. It’s an adventure on the high seas where Monkey D. Luffy longs for a life of freedom. One Piece is actually the name of the treasure that Luffy is looking for during his journey to become King of the Pirates. But before that, he must assemble a crew and find a ship to sail.

One Piece stars Inaki Godoy as Luffy, Makinho as Roronoa Zoro, Emily Rudd as Nami, Jacob Romero as Usopp, and Tazz Skyler as Sanji. Matt Owens and Stephen Maeda are writers, executive producers, and directors. Ichiro Oda (manga creator), Marty Edelstein, and Becky Clements are also executive producers.

In a sweet appeal to anime fans, Netflix recently released a trailer for One Piece (which you can view here) which features the Japanese anime voice dubbing over the live-action English-speaking cast. Netflix previously announced The original voice cast will be reprising their roles in the live-action Japanese dub of One Piece, bringing some of the beloved anime’s spirit to the adaptation. Meanwhile, One Piece creator Eiichiro Oda had specific requirements from Netflix before they would adapt his work to live action.

One Piece will be released on Netflix on August 31st.
