The original “Now and Then,” which Lennon recorded over 40 years ago, came from the same batch of demo recordings his former bandmates used to create the songs “Free As a Bird” and “Real Love” in the mid-1990s. .
“Now and Then,” written by Lennon in 1978 and completed by McCartney and Starr last year, also features the vocals of the late guitarist George Harrison, using tracks from one of his studio recordings from 1995.
