Taylor Swift It was announced Thursday night While performing on the Eras Tour in Liverpool, England, her massive concert tour will officially end her unprecedented run in December, presumably after her December 6-8 shows at the British Columbia Palace in Vancouver, British Columbia.

“This is the first time I’ve ever admitted to myself that this tour is ending in December. That’s it,” Swift said in an onstage speech during her “Red” set.

“That seems so far away from now, but again, it’s like we just played our first show on this tour because you made this so much fun for us that we wanted to play 100 shows, 150-something shows that we’re on tour,” she continued. “In its entirety.”

Swift said that the Eras Tour “became my whole life” and “took over everything”, including her hobbies, which were replaced by sitting at home and trying to “think of clever vocal mixes and think about what you might do”. I want to hear” during her show’s “Surprise Song” set.

From the stage, Swift also admitted that Thursday’s show was her 100th Eras Tour (On June 13, no less). The Eras Tour, which began on March 17, 2023 in Glendale, Arizona, spanned five continents. When the tour ends, Swift will have performed 152 shows. The tour broke records and resulted in (a few versions of) a record-breaking concert tour film in its own right.

Thursday’s comments marked the first time Swift announced the end date of her beloved Eras Tour, to which she has been adding dates over the past year.

It’s unclear what she’ll do next, but any true Swiftie knows it’s sure to be magical.

Swift continues her European run this weekend in Liverpool before a rare show on Tuesday in Cardiff, Wales, followed by shows in London next week.
