Actor Russell Crowe and his girlfriend Brittney Theriot have been denied service at an Australian restaurant for not following the smart-casual dress code, a report says.
The couple went to eat at Mr.Miyagi, a Japanese fusion establishment in Melbourne, dressed in clothes they had played tennis in earlier in the day, but were quickly denied entry by staff.
Crew team manager Grant Vandenberg told L.L.C Daily Mail Australia.

The employee who refused entry to the Crowe didn’t know who the Robin Hood actor was, Klein said, “a very unfortunate situation for everyone.”
Mr. Miyagi enjoyed the situation, and updated his dress code Politics on Instagram.
The sign read: “Dress smart casual, unless you’re Russell Crowe, then dress up.”
The restaurant also ate Crow, to purify the air.
“Dear Russell, During your last visit it appears we took the wrong stance. After much reflection on what happened we have made a permanent change to our dress code,” the caption read. “We would love to see you again in the future, you are always welcome at Mr. Miyagi.”
According to the Daily Mailradio host Steve Price and his girlfriend were turned away at the restaurant a few days later for violating the dress code.
Crow, who I started dating Theriot In November 2020, he joins the list of new listeners who got to boot from restaurants.
Talk show host James Corden was banned from Keith McNally’s Manhattan restaurant Balthazar in October 2022 after he allegedly mistreated restaurant staff.
Other stars to get the boot from the establishment include Ariana Grande of a California donut shop after she was caught on security camera licking some unsupervised pastries.
