Putin confidante heaps praise on Kremlin leader

A Russian politician praised Vladimir Putin. However, it sounded like a eulogy.

The health of the Russian president is one of the most closely guarded secrets in the Kremlin. Rumors continue – the ruler is already dead and replaced by doppelgangers.

Now new speculation is emerging, this time fueled by a politician very close to Putin and a former head of the FSB secret service. Nikolai Patrushev, who is even said to be able to inherit the leadership of the Kremlin, was seen in a bizarre video that Putin focused on. Strangely, he spoke in the past tense.

Patrushev, a member of the Russian Security Council, was dressed in all black in the clip. He stood at a lectern with a large screen in the background that repeatedly showed images of Putin. Many people were sitting in front of him. It is not clear when and where this video was recorded.

Patrushev spoke of the need for strong leadership after the collapse of the Soviet Union in the 1990s. “One such leader is Putin, who was first prime minister, then president-elect and constitutionally became head of the Russian Security Council.” However, he has spoken out about Vladimir Putin in the past. “He believed in the people and believed in the reliability of their support and help, and felt all the responsibility to save the motherland,” he continued.

“Has the memorial service started?

The Kremlin has repeatedly denied rumors of Putin’s death. However, there are concerns about his health. He repeatedly promised to meet with the president of Kazakhstan, did not attend the video conference and appeared in a photo with unusually chubby cheeks.
