A royal expert says the ongoing feud between Prince Harry and his family has reached a boiling point.
On Thursday, the Duke of Sussex is heading to Singapore for a fundraising polo match, while his brother, Prince William, is also heading there – but at a later date.
And according to royal expert and True Royalty TV co-founder Nick Bullen, a heartfelt reunion between the two brothers isn’t on the table anytime soon.
“I’m sure everyone managed that diary to make sure there was absolutely no crossover,” Bolen said Fox News said.
“Harry didn’t even go to old friends’ weddings. So, those moments where they might bump into each other don’t happen, let alone designer moments.”
Harry has been in Asia this week since he landed in Tokyo, Japan on Tuesday for the ISPS Sports Value Summit-Special Edition.
He and longtime polo champion Ignacio “Nacho” Figueras are now heading into the 2023 Sentebale ISPS Handa Polo Cup in Singapore.
The event helps Sentebale – a charity founded by Harry – raise money to support children and young people living with HIV.
For his part, William is scheduled to visit Singapore in Southeast Asia in November to attend the Earthshot Awards 2023.
“I think there is so much water under the bridge between William and Harry that the manner in which they intend to find common ground is beyond most royal commentators,” Bolen said. “I think there has to be mediation from someone else. Intervention is almost needed. It requires both parties to be willing to sit down at the negotiating table.”
“But I think it will be very difficult to see how this will play out,” Bolin continued. People have such well-established opinions. [During] The icing on the cake, the seating plan is carefully crafted [so] They won’t have to interact.”
I think it would take a huge apology on both sides. Whether they will come or not, I think it is highly unlikely, added the royal expert.
Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, recently snubbed an invitation from King Charles to attend a royal family gathering marking the one year anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II’s death.
William W [his wife] Kate [Middleton] “He will be spending time at Balmoral this summer,” said Boleyn, who has worked closely with King Charles for more than a decade.
“They will stay up late in a cottage that was a favorite of the Queen when she was alive. William and Kate have taken over with their children this summer. So, it’s good to see the tradition continue.”
The snub follows the monarch’s recent eviction of the Sussexes from the royal digs at Frogmore Cottage – meaning the couple will have to set up camp with a friend or a hotel next time they visit Harry’s home grounds.
Despite this, a royal expert said so Charles will not undress Harry and Meghan’s royal titles are “The Duke and Duchess of Sussex” no matter what.
Tensions between the firm and the Sussexes are at an all-time high after the pair pack up and move across the pond.
