Neil Nanda, Jimmy Kimmel Live! Comedian, died at the age of 32

Neil Nanda – An up-and-coming comedian who appeared on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” – He died. He was 32 years old.

“I [am] Deeply shocked and deeply saddened by this. “He was a great comedian, but he was an even better person,” Greg Weiss, Nanda's manager, said in an interview. Statement to deadline. “He had the world before him.”

The cause of death was not immediately known.

Weiss also noted that he was fully booked for appearances throughout January and February.

Nanda – who also appeared on Comedy Central's “Adam Devine's House Party” – hosted Weekly show “Unnecessary Evil” At the Westside Comedy Theater in Los Angeles.

Following his death, many mourned the comedian on social media, including Matt Rife and Dice Cook.

“You were one of the kindest, hardest working comedians I've ever called a friend, and I hope you're at peace, brother.” Rife wrote on X (formerly known as Twitter).

Comedy clubs also joined in mourning the artist.

“It is with a very heavy heart that we say goodbye to the great comedian, Neil Nanda,” said representatives of The Port Comedy Club in Baltimore. It was posted Saturday on Instagram. “Absolutely shocked by the news. Such a positive force for comedy and a huge loss to our community. Rest in peace Neil.”

said Nanda, the son of Indian immigrant parents VC reporter in a 2018 interview He became interested in comedy when he was watching Comedy Central and writing his favorite jokes while in middle school.

“I didn't realize I was stealing jokes until I was in high school,” Nanda said. “When I was in high school, I started writing my own jokes using the structure of some jokes I had stolen previously.

“I filled a notebook with jokes and it wasn't until college that I realized I could go to an open mic and tell them. I had a friend who read the notebook and told me, 'You know you can do that, right?'” I didn't know, but after a quick Google search, I got To Laughing Skull's open mic.”

He first appeared on The Jimmy Kimmel Show in 2017 and called it his “proudest accomplishment to date in comedy…Jimmy Kimmel was the first place I ever performed as my parents were fans of the host.”
