After a moment between Megan Thee Stallion and Justin Timberlake backstage at the MTV VMAs went viral, the two addressed the alleged beef — and cleared it up.

In the front-facing camera video, she and Timberlake sit next to each other and laugh. While their lyrics drown out the sound of Fukai Mori’s “Do As Infinity,” the duo’s warm and intimate body language is meant to refute whatever onlookers interpreted during the VMAs on September 12.

In the short interaction, Megan applies makeup as the five *NSYNC members walk by. Justin Timberlake seems to be leaning towards it. She takes a step forward and raises her arm, shaking her hands and index finger back and forth. Joey Fatone seemed to chime in next. When they finished walking, she turned around and rolled her eyes.
