Halle Berry talks briefly about Drake’s new single cover of “Slime You Out.”
The rapper has released his new single, which marks his first collaboration with SZA and is the first from his upcoming album For all dogs, Friday. The cover for the single features a photo of Perry slimming down at the 2012 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards.
Drake and SZA posted the same single cover to their Instagram accounts on Wednesday, teasing their upcoming collaboration without explicitly saying what it will be or when it will come.
Share Perry Posted on Instagram After the song was released with a pink box with the line “Sometimes you gotta be the bigger man…even if you’re a woman!” on him. In the comments section, an artist named “slicartist” asked the actress about her thoughts on Drake using her image in the single.
“I didn’t get my permission,” she wrote. “That’s not cool, I thought better of it!” Then she followed this comment with another comment, and added: “Hence my message today.” When the people you admire disappoint you, you have to be the bigger person and move on!
Drake announced the song He was coming to his tour stop in Austin, Texas, on Monday, saying he knew his fans were excited about the album, which will be released on September 22, so he wanted to release a song sooner rather than later.
