Emma Stone wasn't at a loss for words when it came to one of her best friends applauding her 2024 Golden Globe win on Sunday night.
“What a hole, am I right?” Stone joked backstage when asked about supporting the pop star.
“I've known her for almost 20 years, so I'm very happy to have her there. She's also been nominated tonight, so I'm very happy to have her there – but what an a**hole.”
Stone (35 years old) won the Best Actress award for her role in the movie “Bad Things.” When the “Easy A” star's name was announced as the winner, the “Cruel Summer” singer and her friend Kelly Sperry gave the actress a standing ovation.
Although she received overwhelming support from her friends, Stone focused on her husband, Dave McCrary.
“Dave, I have to start with you real quick,” Stone began her acceptance speech.
“I love you so much. Thank you for everything.”
Shortly after Stone accepted her award, the “Anti-Hero” singer appeared to leave the awards show early after her musical “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour” lost to “Barbie” in the Cinema and Box Office Achievement category.

Swift's decision to leave also came after she became angry about host Joe Coy's joke about her and boyfriend Travis Kelce, who skipped the concert due to their game against the Los Angeles Chargers.
“The big difference between the Golden Globes and the NFL — at the Golden Globes we have fewer camera shots of Taylor Swift,” the comedian said during his opening monologue.
Swift, 34, remained frozen as she sipped from her glass of Moët & Chandon Champagne.
“If looks could kill Taylor shot a glare at the hosts' low-key joke,” one viewer pointed out.
“Taylor thought NAWT was funny, I'm laughing,” another person wrote, while a third user commented: “Taylor was not amused OMFFGG.”
