Dumb Money is a movie about GameStop’s stock market craze

GameStop had a moment in the sun as the world’s #1 stock meme, and one of Wall Street’s hottest assets, in a while. stupid money It follows Keith Gill (Paul Dano), an ordinary guy/streaming personality who bets his life savings on a stock hunch and hits it big. More importantly, when Gil bets big on GameStop, he posts about it and inspires his followers to do the same. Suddenly, thousands of people are buying every GameStop stock they can, sending the billionaires trying to sell the stock into a massive panic.

As for adapting the story, a ridiculously talented cast has been assembled on both sides of the class line.
