Police were interviewing witnesses and Shipman described the ongoing investigation as “extensive”.

Spokeswoman Heather Burke said eight people were hospitalized at Denver Health Medical Center – one in critical condition, one in good condition and six in good condition. She said questions about the two additional wounded should be directed to the police.
