Charlie Sheen's neighbor is charged with assault after an alleged attack

The Los Angeles District Attorney's Office charged Electra Schrock With one count of assault with force likely to cause great bodily injury – she is now being held on $75,000 bail, awaiting arraignment.

TMZ broke the story… Cops were called to Charlie's apartment in Los Angeles last Wednesday after he called 911 to report that Schrock had broken into his home and attacked him when he answered her knocks on his door.

Law enforcement sources tell us… Schrock tore off Charlie's shirt and tried to strangle him before returning to her own apartment on a higher floor.

Since the two were neighbors, police had no difficulty tracking down and arresting Schrock. She was then booked into the Los Angeles County Jail.

This may not have been the first time Schrock had gotten into an altercation with Charlie, who allegedly told officers that the assault suspect had recently sprayed gunk on his car.
