Celine Dion is relying on her children for support amid her diagnosis with Stiff Person Syndrome.
In a new interview with Vogue FranceThe 56-year-old singer was asked what helps her most in dealing with this syndrome. “Above all, the love of my family and my children, but also the love of the fans, and the support of my team,” Dion shared.
“People with SPS may not be lucky enough or don't have the means to have good doctors and good treatments. I have the means, and that's a gift.”

Dion is mother to sons Rene-Charles, 23, and twins Nelson and Eddie, 13, whom she shares with her late husband, Rene Angelil.
In May 2023, a source told PEOPLE that Dion's sons were her “light” when she had to cancel all of her tour dates through April 2024 due to her diagnosis with Stiff Person Syndrome.
“Her main focus is always her sons and her performance. She is the most selfless and considerate person,” a source told PEOPLE. “Celine loves her children so much. They are amazing. They give her all the support and love she needs.”

Almost a year later, the singer appeared with her three children in a photo she shared Instagram In honor of World Stiff Person Syndrome Awareness Day on March 15, 2024.
In a caption written in English and French, she said: “Trying to overcome this autoimmune disorder has been one of the most difficult experiences of my life, but I am still determined to return to the stage one day and live as usual.” Life as much as I can, and I am so grateful for the love and support from my kids, my family, my team and all of you!”
