According to the family, Bishop Bernard Wright succumbed to his injuries late Tuesday.
Family spokesman Bryce Graham confirmed that his death was related to injuries he sustained from a hit-and-run accident, and stated that Wright was a husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. As well as an advocate for the people until his death.
