Asus Zenfone V, the company’s latest smartphone has been officially announced as a Verizon exclusive in the US. Interested customers can buy the handset from Verizon for 24 monthly payments of $16, or pay a full price of $384.

In terms of specs, the handset features a 5.2-inch Full HD AMOLED display along with a 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The Zenfone also features an impressive screen to body ratio of 74.8 percent. Under the hood, it gets powered by the Snapdragon 820 processor bundled with Adreno 530 GPU 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM. It comes with 32GB of built-in storage which is further expandable up to 256GB via microSD slot.

As far as OS goes, the Zenfone V runs Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box with Zen UI 3.0.

In the camera department, the handset comes with a 23MP primary camera with OIS, EIS, and Laser AF. For selfies, it has an 8MP front-facing shooter with f/2.0 aperture and an 88-degree wide angle lens. The Home button on the Zenfone V also doubles up as a fingerprint scanner.

Elsewhere, the handset is juiced by a 3000mAh battery which supports Boost Master Fast charging. The company asserts it charges the device from 0-60 percent in just 37 minutes.

In terms of features, the Asus Zenfone comes with a 3.5mm jack with support for virtual 7.1 surround and Res Audio. Connectivity options on the handset include 4G LTE with VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, along with the latest USB-Type C connectivity.
