The brazen burglary KOMO News reports that it happened in broad daylight at a Louis Vuitton store in Bellevue.
Police said the 17-year-old suspect grabbed $18,000 worth of handbags from the displays and tried to get out of the store.
However, it appeared that the suspect ran into a problem when he fell himself by running through a glass window.
Prosecutors said the 17-year-old, whose name has not been released because he was a juvenile, was part of a retail crime heist ring, the outlet reported.
More than 50 repeat offenders have been arrested in Bellevue for retail burglary and theft, according to the report. The county has charged 59 organized retail theft cases so far this year.
