The annual vignette, which will glow sea green in the future, will replace sunny yellow by 2024 and will be valid for 14 months – December 1, 2024 to January 31, 2026. The color choice is a coincidence, says Claudia Eder, executive director of the highway company ASFINAG: “Difference from the previous year and signal effect are the main reasons for the respective color choice – that’s why we ensure a clear contrast in sea green from the previous year’s color solar yellow.”
