Giant Robot from Amazon MGM Studios Voltron film He’s getting a man of steel.
Henry Cavill, Superman actor and star of the film The witcheris at the top of the list in a live-action film based on the mecha anime directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber.
The actor joins Daniel Quinn Toye, a newcomer who impressed the studio and director with his work in the West End opposite Tom Holland, in leading the roll call.
Voltron Based on the Japanese science fiction series Monster King Jolyon and Keiko Kantai Dairogir XV. World Events edited the series and called it a syndicated show Voltron: Defender of the Universewhich continued into the mid-1980s. The story centers around five young pilots in a battalion called the Robot Lions, which are vehicles that combine together to form a massive robot known as Voltron.
Plot details of the new version are unclear. Thurber wrote the screenplay with Elaine Shanman.

Cavill appeared in two thrillers this year, directed by Matthew Vaughan Argyle Apple Original Films and Guy Ritchie’s Ministry of brutal war For Lionsgate. He also had a cameo that audiences raved about this summer Deadpool Wolverine.
The muscular actor reunites with Ritchie for the thriller In greywhich will also co-star Jake Gyllenhaal and Eiza Gonzalez, and is set to star in Chad Stahelski’s long-awaited reboot of his film. HighlanderWho shoots next year. He also produces Look At Warhammer 40,000 Franchise across all Amazon MGM Studios productions.
