After completing the NBA play-in tournament, we now know the 14 teams associated with the lottery for 2022 NBA Draft.
The top three teams on the board and the three worst teams in the league this season — the Houston Rockets, the Orlando Magic and the Detroit Pistons — each hold 14% odds of securing the first overall pick in the May 17 draft lottery in Chicago. .
The Pistons are looking to win the lottery for the second consecutive season after being drafted Kid Cunningham #1 overall in 2021.
Meanwhile, the Oklahoma City Thunder currently has two lottery picks — two thanks to Friday’s play loss by the Los Angeles Clippers — and three first-round picks to line up with OKC’s #34 pick in the second round.
The second Thunder lottery picks have a 12.5% chance and a 1.5% chance of winning the top pick.
