Apple announced on Tuesday about the dates of Worldwide Developers Conference or WWDC. The event will take place starting from June 4 to June 8. Apple organized WWDC to say about the future roads that they have planned like announcing about the software updates for iPhones, iPads, and Mac computers. At WWDC 2018 we can expect a few major announcements including
New operating system iOS 12 for iPhones and iPads
iOS 12 is expected to come with a new Animoji for iPhone-X. You can use the Animoji for FaceTime calls. The next update is for Siri in which it is expected that the Siri integration for Photos app and Do Not Disturb feature.
New Version of macOS
There is a rumour of having a new version of macOS which is macOS 14, macOS 13 is the latest version for Mac computers. The rumour from this version is that it is comparable to iPhone and iPad apps which means we can run iOS apps on our Mac computers. If this happens it will be a very good update as you will not have to break your workflow to switch between your iOS device and Mac computer to use an iOS app.
Upgrade to the Mac Pro
In April 2017, Apple executives said that they are working on a new updated version for the Mac Pro desktop computer. It is been a year that we have heard this news about the update, and it is expected the update version may get announced this year at WWDC.
New MacBook Air
MacBook Air is one of the best laptops of Apple. The latest MacBook Air has a fifth-generation Intel Processor with a 900p display and has a poor contrast as compared to MacBook Pros. With all this old version Apple is expected to announce the new version of MacBook Air with a display same as to the 13-inch MacBook Pro. The price of the same is said be around under $1,000 as said by Apple analysts Ming-Chi Kuo.
New iPad Pro
There is a rumour about Apple that it is going to update the iPad Pro with a design that is similar to the iPhone-X. It will have narrow bezels, a true-depth camera that can be used for FaceID and Animoji as reported by Jun Zhang of Rosenblatt Securities.
