Microsoft releases new Windows 10 preview for PCs with improvements for the Sets, Bluetooth and Calculator. Windows 10 build is from the RS5 branch and it represents the update that company is planning to roll out later this year. The next update is said to come soon from the RS4 branch.

Windows 10 is built in very different form from its predecessors which can get updated regularly for not just foxes but also with new features. The company has released four major updates till now which are November Update, Anniversary Update, Creators Update and Fall Creators Update. The RS5 build is meant for the Windows Insider who have chosen to Skip Ahead option which means they will continue to get builds from the RS_PRERELEASE branch. Microsoft allows a small batch of Insiders who can opt for Skip Ahead as the company still needs testers who can help them with RS4.

Windows 10 Sets is the feature which helps us to run the multiple apps in a single window with the help of tabs. The main motive behind this idea is to help to open new tabs in a given window irrespective of the things you are working on like relevant web pages, research documents and so on. Sets allow us to drag and drop the app tabs across windows. You can use ALT + Tab to move the tabs in between. Sets also got its own settings section which and you can access that by going to Settings > System > Multitasking and it is also searchable. A new keyboard shortcut is added to open tab in File Explorer and you can do this by pressing Ctrl +T. If you right=click on Sets tab then you can see new options like “Close other Tabs”, “move to new window”, and “close tabs to the right.” There is also an option in order to open a new tab via the context menu. The other improvements in Sets are restoring Previous tabs and usual bug fixes.

In Bluetooth improvements, you can now check the battery percentage of your Bluetooth devices in “Bluetooth and Other devices.” The battery percentage will get updated whenever you will connect your PC to the device.

Windows Calculator also got updated with the version 10.1803.711.0. This update allows fixing a serious bug issue present in Calculator. The Calculator can now correctly calculate the square roots for the perfect squares as in the previous version it only gives the approximation.

This build also includes some bug fixes and improvements to the desktop version. This issue includes the fix of the duplicate entries in Disk Mangement, issue relating to certain UWP apps which are silently terminate when minimized, issue for devices with BitLocker enabled which boots unexpectedly into BitLocker recovery, fix the race condition of the taskbar for not autohiding after it opens and close the Start menu, issue with the typing of Start that would take to blank Cortana screen,  issue relating to places where a user use Arabic as the display language in which the text field get stop automatically.
