Microsoft is all set to announce more details about the incoming Xbox One X console. The company has a press event today (August 20) in Cologne, Germany, where it’ll show new Xbox games and announce more details about its upcoming Xbox One X console.  You can watch the livestream right here which kicks off at around 12pm PT.

Not to mention, Microsoft has already confirmed it’ll also announce Xbox One X pre-order details at the event which are said to go live soon after.

Microsoft is also expected to showcase new trailers for upcoming games such as Forza Motorsport 7, Sea f Thieves, etc. at the event.

Besides, the company also said that this year’s Gamescom will be quite different from what’ve seen in the past.

“This year’s show will be hosted by Graeme Boyd (aka @AceyBongos), Xbox Germany’s Maxi Graeff (@GMaxee), and Julia Hardy (@itsJuliaHardy). They’ll have news to share, games to show off, will sit down to talk with developers from fan favorite studios and play some of the year’s hottest games yet to be released. The stream will be hosted on and via the Mixer app. We’ll have three URLs for the show, the countdown for which begins one hour before the livestream begins,” explains Microsoft.

While Xbox boss Phil Spencer also told fans that more announcements about which games will support the Xbox One X will also be announced at the event.

“We are doing something we haven’t done in a while at Gamescom, it will be different from what fans expect but I’m excited. Yes you will hear about more games supporting X at Gamescom,” said Spencer.

You can watch Microsoft’s live stream on Twitch or YouTube which starts 12:00pm on the West Coast and 3:00pm on the East Coast.

To recall, the Xbox One X was officially unveiled at E3 2017. The console will be more powerful than the Xbox One and should be well-equipped to handle demanding games. It features an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 that should work better with 4K TVs compared to the Xbox One X.
