Joe Biden’s appearance in a TV showdown against Donald Trump was generally considered a failure. With the US presidential election just months away, there is unease among Democrats. A US media outlet has now cited White House sources detailing the 81-year-old’s daily routine.

I amAccording to insiders, the White House is trying to organize US President Joe Biden’s day-to-day work around his health. This was reported by the American news website.Axios“. Citing eight current or former Biden administration officials, the portal writes that domestically, failures are routinely recorded – because the president is generally known to be the most reliable incumbent.

However, the time of day influences the state in which the president presents himself in a meeting. Biden is reliably resilient from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. However, failures such as tongue slips or fatigue symptoms increased when occurring outside of this time. Hence an effort is made to schedule as many public meetings as possible from morning to afternoon. The televised debate against his predecessor and rival, Donald Trump, in which Biden has at times appeared rather erratic, began at 9pm local time.

A White House spokesperson told Axios that there is “the one and only Joe Biden” who fights “hard” for families and achieves “unprecedented victories” for them.

Biden — at 81, the oldest president in U.S. history — spoke in a raspy tone during a debate with his challenger Trump on CNN Thursday evening and repeatedly fumbled his lines. He also stuttered and left sentences unfinished.

The weak performance caused unease in Democratic ranks and increased calls among political commentators for Biden to drop out of the presidential race.

“I didn’t have a good evening, but neither did Trump,” Biden said at a campaign rally on Saturday. He added: “I assure you that we will win this election.” The US President’s campaign team also acknowledged that the televised debate did not go as expected. However, this will have no bearing on the close contest between the two candidates.
