Nintendo has Announcing the release date – August 4th – For upcoming upcoming DLC tournaments Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. This second wave includes eight cycles, which is the same as what we saw at The first wave kicked off in March. They mostly rely on pre-existing tracks Mario Kart games, but there’s a whole new game: an ice cream-themed course called Sky-High Sundae.
When running on tracks back from previous games, there is a calamari desert from the N64 edition Mario Kartand Mario Circuit 3 from SNES, Mushroom Gorge from Wii, Waluigi Pinball from DS, Snow Land from GBA, New York Minute and Sydney Sprint, which previously appeared in the mobile-focused title Mario Kart Tour. Nintendo’s announcement indicates that Sky-High Sundae is due to come Mario Kart Tour Later.

The wave is the second of six announced by Nintendo, which it said in February it would release Over the next two years. In total, Nintendo adds 48 tracks to Mario Kart 8 Deluxedoubling the number of tracks the game included at launch in 2017. The game is one of the most successful titles released for the Nintendo Switch, with over 45 million copies sold.
The second wave of tracks is included as part of a Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscription or can also be purchased as part of a Booster Course Pass for $24.99. This price includes all 48 DLC tracks that will eventually be released to the game.
I personally was a little frustrated With the first set of eight tracks, which I didn’t think were as vibrant as the courses in the base game. But, with more of this second wave of tracks based on the main console Mario Kart Entries instead of a tripI hope they feel more energetic.
