The report says Kanye West’s Donda Academy is closing its doors in Simi Valley amid fallout over anti-Semitic statements

Los Angeles (CABC) – Kanye West’s Donda Academy, the private school he founded, is said to have closed as fallout continues after his anti-Semitic statements, prompting a number of companies and individuals to speak out against him.

According to a report from The Times of London, Simi Valley School closures effective immediately. A post from West that has since been taken down appears to confirm this report, but no further details were available.

This report appears to be based on an email sent to the parents. It reads in part: “Dear Donda Academy Families – We hope this email finds you well. First, we would like to express our gratitude to the community of families and scholars that Dunda Academy has brought together. However, at the direction of our founder, Dunda Academy will be closed until the end of the school year 2022-2023 immediately.”

A news photographer at the scene on Thursday morning captured a video of the property, which appeared deserted. A number of notifications from carriers, dated September 27, and October 30 and 12, were also seen on a sign trespassing on a chain link fence.

Mary Lipari, who has a home near the academy, says the site has been closed since last year.

“It opened in late August of 2021, it opened during Thanksgiving the same year, and then they gave up the property,” she said.

Lipari added that she believes the property has been abandoned due to the issue of replacing windows to meet earthquake safety standards.

“I understood that the windows were not up to earthquake standards and that they had to replace the windows, so that was the story I was told,” Lipari said. “And then they couldn’t get it – it would have taken six months to get the windows.”

in the postHe wrote about how he lost $2 billion in one day but is still alive. He went on to say that money is not who it is, but it is more about people.

The rapper’s post came after it had to be Outside Skechers Headquarters In Manhattan Beach on Wednesday. According to a statement from the shoe company, West arrived “without warning and without an invitation.”

“Given that Ye was engaged in unauthorized filming, two Skechers executives and his party escorted him from the building after a short conversation,” the statement read.

The company confirmed that it is not considering and has no intention of working with the rapper.
