Taylor Swift was busy with work on the Fourth of July, canceling her annual Independence Day celebration in Rhode Island.
Instead, the 34-year-old pop star — who received a sentimental gift from Gigi Hadid in June — took to the stage in Amsterdam, where she performed at the Johan Cruijff Arena.
Three shows are scheduled to take place at the venue, running until Saturday, July 6.
The singer-songwriter usually hosts a party at her Watch Hill home.
Last year, she shared snapshots of the gathering on Instagram, writing on July 7: “Happy belated Independence Day from the independent girls in your local area.”
She was joined at the celebratory party by one of her longtime best friends, Selena Gomez.
The post has garnered over 9.2 million likes from Taylor’s 283 million followers.
The Pennsylvania-born musician regularly hosted Fourth of July celebrations at her New England residence until Donald Trump became president, before resurfacing last year.

While performing in Paris, she revealed that she had been working on The Tortured Poets Department portion of her tour since last year.

“We went right back to rehearsals. So I want to leave it to my crew, my dancers and my band,” she said during a music break.
