Mario Luigi original developers

Nintendo hasn’t said who’s developing Mario & Luigi: Brothership, but the company has offered a bit of information.

As quoted by Game fileThe Big N says that “some of the original developers who worked on the franchise are participating in the development.” Nintendo noted that more information will be included in the credits upon release.

We’re back to the same song and dance with Nintendo that we’ve seen a lot of lately. With many projects, the company is not keen on providing details about the teams working on its games. Donkey Kong Country Returns HD was also announced this week, and we later found out that Forever Entertainment is taking over after the company. Publish an official document online.

For Mario & Luigi: Brothership in particular, many fans are wondering who is behind the game. It’s a particularly noteworthy headline given how AlphaDream shut down a few years ago after bankruptcy. Previously, AlphaDream was handling all other entries in the series. The last original entry in the franchise came nearly a decade ago.

Mario & Luigi: Brothership launches for Switch on November 7, 2024. Check out more information and the first trailer here.
