Some Delta Air Lines passengers are experiencing ear pain and nosebleeds after a possible cabin pressure issue.

A Delta Air Lines flight returned to Salt Lake City after cabin pressure problems caused some passengers to experience nosebleeds and ear discomfort.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) confirmed to Fox News Digital that the crew of Flight 1203 bound for Portland International Airport returned to Salt Lake City International Airport after reporting a possible pressurization issue on Sunday.

The aircraft, a Boeing 737-900, was carrying 140 passengers and landed safely at approximately 8:30 a.m.

According to KSLOne passenger said those on board the plane began feeling pain shortly after takeoff.

“I looked at my husband, and he had both hands over his ears, you know, and he was kind of leaning forward,” the passenger told the newspaper. “I looked a row behind me, across the aisle, and there was a guy who clearly had a bad nosebleed, and people were trying to help him.”

There was 10 passengers They needed medical evaluation after a possible pressure issue. The airline did not disclose what kind of evaluation or treatment these people received.

“We sincerely apologize to our customers for their experience on board flight 1203 on September 15,” the airline said in a statement. “The flight crew followed the necessary procedures to return to Salt Lake City Airport where our teams on the ground supported our customers with their immediate needs.”

The Federal Aviation Administration continues to investigate the incident.
