Solana Changes Twitter Name to Solano After Bitcoin Maxi Jack Dorsey Misspells Series

The Layer-1 blockchain jokingly renamed itself Solano on Twitter after Jack Dorsey mistyped the name of the cryptocurrency in a Twitter thread.

Maybe an innocent mistake? Or a schoolyard tactic to insult an enemy whose name you don’t have time to remember?

Either way, Solana couldn’t miss the opportunity to turn the call into a viral moment.

Shortly after Dorsey’s tweet on Friday, Solana changed her Twitter show name to Solano. Crypto Twitter soon took over the chain’s embrace in opposition to Dorsey, with many now calling it “Solano” to continue the joke.
