We might just be a few days away from the official launch of the Galaxy S9 though the leaks and revelations continue unabated. The latest in that list is a new image of the much awaited phone done up in what is being claimed to be the Coral Blue color theme. And credit for the latest leak goes to none other than Evan Blass.
This comes on the back of another press shot of the Samsung flagship donning Lilac Purple color and had got leaked just days back. Other color options expected to be available for the S9 duo include Titanium Grey and the usual Midnight Black.
Apart from the new color option which does make the phone look so cool, there is nothing much else that we aren’t already aware of the handset. That includes the now familiar design which again can be considered to be further evolution of the Infinity Display theme we have already debuting with the Galaxy S8.
That includes extremely thin bezels at the top and bottom while the same along the sides are virtually non-existent. That said, while Samsung has so far glorified curved side displays, that seems much less prominent on the S9. In fact, the curved displays which tapered off towards the sides made the screen seem to have absolutely no bezels. That seemingly isn’t the case with the S9 which, as leaked imaged have shown, has thin strips of bezels flanking either side of the longish screen.
Also, while still on the display, the S9 will have 5.8-inches of Super AMOLED Quad-HD+ panel having resolution of 1440 × 2960 pixels. Similarly, the S9 Plus will come with a bigger 6.2-inch Super AMOLED Quad-HD+ display though with the same resolution of 1440 × 2960 pixels.
Among the other specs include Snapdragon 845/Exynos 9810 mated to either a 4GB RAM/64 GB ROM on the S9 or 6 GB RAM and 128 GB ROM on the S9 Plus. The S9 will make do with a 3000mAh battery while its bigger cousin will have a 3500mAh power pack.
Among the other significant change will be at the rear where the dual 12-mp cameras and fingerprint sensor will be aligned in a single vertical line along the center. The smaller S9 will however come with a single 12-mp camera.
