While the newly launched OnePlus 5 may be the company’s latest flagship. Though, the Chinese manufacturer is still rolling out new updates for the older OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T smartphones. Both handsets are now getting the Oxygen OS 4.5.0 update which brings several new features and improvements.

Some of the improvements included in OxygenOS 4.5.0 update also bring similar features found on the OnePlus 5. These include features such as Lift up display, Gaming Do Not Disturb mode, network speed in status bar, as well as scheduled night mode.

Talking about features, the Lift up display features activates the display when you list the device to show notifications. While Gaming Do Not Disturb mode when activated mutes all notifications and alerts while users are gaming on their OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T smartphones.

Elsewhere, the latest update also brings OnePlus Slate font for the OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T, also available on the latest OnePlus 5. In addition, the update adds secure box to the File Manager app along with subtle UI improvements. For instance, the update comes with a redesigned calling UI, an overhauled photo editor in the Gallery, addition of Shot on OnePlus wallpapers, as well as the ability to add a Shot on OnePlus watermark.

As is the usually the case with OTA Updates, Oxygen OS 4.5.0 update is being rolled out in phases. Some users would have got the new update on Tuesday, while a broader rollout is expected to begin shortly.
