Police are investigating a stabbing that occurred at a BART station in San Francisco on Wednesday, officials said.
San Francisco police told NBC Bay Area that someone was stabbed. No other details were released.
BART’s spokeswoman, Anna Duckworth, said BART police are still investigating and reviewing the video surveillance footage.
The transit agency sent out an alert about the closed station around 6pm and said trains were running through the Civic Center and not stopping.
As of 7:05 p.m., BART was recovering and normal service had resumed. Officials said there were still significant system-wide delays due to police activity.
